Today is World AIDS Day, and it is also my birthday. The coincidence is rather sobering, but it reminds me that the fight isn't over for myself or others who have HIV. Many thanks to those who have been my support in hard times and I look forward to the day when this disease will just be a part of history.

I hope you're celebrating anyway. Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday! :) Yours is like the 5th blog I've read today that's celebrating a birthday. Mine is on Monday! :)
Hope you've had a great day.
Happy birthday gorgeous!
I saw the film "A closer walk" [about HIV in the developing world] today and felt so bleak. But then I read this post and your previous posts, and realized how far the fight has come in North America, and how much hope there is. Your inner strength is an inspiration to me. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your personal experiences with HIV.
Happy Birthday, Epi! Celebrate it, and expect nothing less from RB than being purely spoiled.
Happy Birthday. Maybe we should start celebrating World AIDS Day by appreciating those poz people we care about?
:)
tornwordo - It was pretty low key as we just got into the city and went directly to RB's apartment to start to clean and move a few things. Then just stayed home and cleaned and did laundry. Today we celebrate! :)
mamaKbear - welcome and happy Birthday to you as well!
snooze - It should be a celebration of lives and of the distance we have crossed thus far. It can be sad at times, but with all of my blog and non-blog frinds supporting and rallying behind me and all the others, it gives us strength. Much love to you and all! xoxo
dantalion - Thanks, and I will celebrate! After all the running around the last few days, RB ran out to go get me a gift, so now I have a new video iPod...I am a spolied little girl! hee hee
dickey - xoxo What a nice thought!
