Puppy Power

I've been sick and I've not been in the writing mood. I blame it on the damned power outage I had this past Sunday and my inability to stay warm for 12 hours. So instead, here are some pictures of my baby. Well, she's not a baby, she's a dog. She's 13 years old and a nut just like me. But isn't she cute?

Babooshka or is it Not Without My Daughter?

I LOVE it! you're such a doting "mother"...and I love the Not Without My Daughter reference. Hahaha! Man, I forgot that doggies need booties up there in the snow. So nice that you take such good care of her!

Yeah, she is my baby and I love being the "doting" mother! Kalyx doesn't like the boots very much, but
she makes me smile and laugh which is more than I can ask for.

Too, too cute. There's just something about a dog with the little booties that makes me crack up. :)

My girl has almost the same outfit. No booties though. Loves the snow.

Um...[whispers and bekons closer] I've never really given much thought to the whole hairy guy bizness. I'm not unhairy, but super hairsuits are kinda animals of their own design. How would you get get yourself clean of "fluids" after a night of passion? To much to think about.

That dog is so cute. I especially love the little dog booties. My favorite things about dogs are their paws. I don't know why - I just think they are so cute!

And now I don't feel so bad for posting a pic of my cat!

AMG - You should see her miserable muzzle when I put them on, and how she tries to kick the boots off.

Dan - I love doggies as well. And since we Chinese are known for eating them, Kalyx is looking tastier and tastier day by day.

Knotty - You have to get a nice coat of oil over the coat first, before you get the fluids on. Makes for much cleaner tidy-up.

Jase - WOuld love to see your pooch :)

Snafu - Kalyx won't let me touch her paws. Her claws are viciously long now.

Ken - Yes. Kalyx was once black, much like Michael, but then she was diagnosed with Vitiligo and has since become more Tan and White. All the other black dogs don't believe her, and say she is a sell-out and embarrassed of her true heritage. I think their just jealous.

On a side note, Do you all thinkI should get her a red jacket made in leather (a la "Thriller") and get her just 1 booty in silver?

You just can't help admiring a person who loves a dog as much as you apparently do. I don't know what would become of me without my boy, KiKi. At 14 he doesn't run around very much and I have to lift him to the bed so that he can position himself at my feet every night.
But they will always be our "babies". Feel better.
